League of Legends is currently running its ninth annual World Championships which undoubtedly everyone is aware of. However, a team that did not qualify for Worlds still made headlines this week. I am of course talking about the huge North American organization Team Solomid (TSM). TSM re-signed their star mid-laner Bjergsen this week. For those unaware, esports contracts are quickly becoming bigger and bigger money as more investment comes into the scene. Organizations will not spare a penny to lockdown the most talented and high profile players for major contracts. This contract between Bjergsen and Team Solomid has him locked down for another two years. In esports years this is reasonably lengthy but certainly worth it.
This week I look at new hardware from Roccat, Postal 4: No Regerts, and Borderlands celebrating 10 years. We also look at the Blizzard controversy and the potential of demonstrations at Blizzcon. Click on the above image to have a listen.
