Yes, you can cancel a listing you created at anytime before it is sold. There is no cost or penalty to canceling your listing (again, before it is sold).

If you're unable to ship a game after it’s sold, please cancel your sale right away by visiting your My Trades page at www.leaptrade.com/mytrades and clicking “Cancel”. A cancellation fee of up to $2 may apply if your LeapTrade shipping label has already been processed.
If you know you won't be sending your item for any reason, please don't leave us or your buyer in the dark. A buyer protection fee of up to $5 will apply for sales that go unshipped without being promptly canceled.

If your game gets lost in the mail or the seller never sends it, there’s no need to worry. As a LeapTrade member, you are protected by our Trade Guarantee and PayPal Buyer/Seller Protection. If you do not receive the game you traded for, LeapTrade will investigate the matter. If you purchased with PayPal, we’ll help you request a refund and get a full refund. If you purchased with credit, upon resolution of our investigation, we’ll refund you the credit value of the game.
As with any dispute, we always ask you to contact the user who sent the game first. Maybe they simply forgot to mail part of it and can correct the mistake. Most problems can be easily resolved by taking this step. However, if you are unable to reach a resolution with the user or they do not respond, you may want to leave negative feedback for the trade. When you leave negative feedback, a dispute will be automatically sent to LeapTrade and we will investigate the matter.
Remember, you are always protected under the LeapTrade Trade Guarantee and PayPal Buyer/Seller Protection. For PayPal purchases you’ll receive a refund directly through PayPal upon successful resolution. For credit purchases you will be reimbursed the full credit value of the game upon successful resolution of the case. A “Friend to Friend (F2F) Trade” is a customized trade created by two LeapTrade users who have added each other as friends. Listing a game up for trade is quick and easy, wherever you see game listings, you can be sure there is an Sell button nearby. You can also, click the “Sell” button above the LeapTrade mini dashboard or “List” games from the My Collection page. Once you click "Sell", just follow the prompts. Our system will take care of the rest. Once a match is found for the game you listed, we will send you an email. All your trades can be viewed on My Trades page.
Requesting a game is easy, wherever you see game listings, you can be sure there is a request button nearby. There is also a request button conveniently located above the LeapTrade mini dashboard. Once you click request, just follow the prompts. Our system will take care of the rest. Once a match is found for the game you requested, we will send you an email. All your trades can be viewed on the My Trades page.
If its a basic trade the games will automatically be sent to you as they become available.

You can find all your trades on your “My Trades” page. From your LeapTrade mini dashboard, click on the “My Trades” link. By clicking on the tabs at the top of the page, you can view all your requests, offers and trade history.
Once you sign up to become a member of LeapTrade you can make as many trades as you want. There is NO LIMIT to the amount of trades a member can make. So trade away!
Yes, you can trade for multiple games at a time through our Friend to Friend (F2F) trading option. For example, you can trade two games from your collection for a single game from another user's collection. You can also trade a game and LeapTrade credit for another game, or receive a game and LeapTrade credit for your one game. But you must be friends with a user before you can create a F2F Trade. To add a user as a friend, click on the “Friends” link on your mini dashboard. On the “Friends” page, click on the button at the top of the page with green plus sign to send a user a friend request.
If you wish to cancel a trade, go to your My Tradesand click on the trade you would like to cancel.Please note that once a trade has been confirmed and a shipping label has been purchased, a trade can no longer be cancelled. If for some reason the shipping label has already been purchased and you need to cancel the trade, please contact us at help@LeapTrade.com.
Click the “Game Received” button, test out the game to make sure it works, and then leave feedback for the user who sent you the game. Remember, feedback is an important component of the LeapTrade community.
It's best to start by contacting the user you are trading with by sending them a quick message. To send a message to the user you are trading with, click on the “send message” button beneath their name on the My Trades page.
You can click on any of the “Add to My Collection” buttons you see with the game listings. You could also go to your collection and click the “Add Game” button. A pop-up box will appear where you can search for the game you want to add. When you find the game, scroll your cursor onto the game cover and click on the button that corresponds to the condition of your game (Excellent, Good, or Disc Only). The game will then be added to your collection.
“My Collection” is the page that shows all the games you currently own that you have added in our system. Your collection may be seen by other users (depending on your privacy settings). By clicking the “Edit” button you can change the condition and indicate if you’re playing the game. You can also offer games for trade or remove games from your collection.
It’s a good idea to add all the games you own to “My Collection” so you can quickly and easily offer them up for trade when you want to. Having all your games in your collection also allows your friends to checkout your games and make trades with you.
When trading a game that contains DLC or a one-time use code, mostly likely the code has been used and access to the content has expired at the time of trading. If you get an unused code, congrats.
You will receive LeapTrade Credit from your trade when the game you have shipped is marked as received by the requesting user and they leave feedback.
A user has 48 hours to confirm a trade. If the user offering the game does not confirm the trade within 48 hours, you will be matched with the next available user offering that game. If there is no other available offer you will automatically be placed in the first position of the request queue. So you will receive the games as soon as it becomes available again.
To keep trades moving swiftly, Leaptrade only allows the offerer 48 hours to accept or reject the trade. This system guarantees users get a fair chance of trading their games and, at the same time, helps prevent requesters from getting continuously matched with the same unresponsive users.
You can contact anyone you are currently trading with by using LeapTrade’s private messaging system. To send a message to the user you are trading with, click on the “send message” button beneath their name on the My Trades page.
LeapTrade requires members to provide CD-Keys along with the original copy of the game. In the event that a sender does not provide a CD-Key, LeapTrade asks that users first send a message to the offerer to try to resolve the issue. If the user does not respond or refuses to provide the CD-Key, you can leave negative feedback for the trade and an investigation will be open. Games that are sent without the CD-Key will be treated as game "unplayable", and you will receive a full refund of the credit value of that game.
Sorry, you cannot trade MMO games on LeapTrade. There are conflicting End User Agreements regarding the trading of MMOs that prevent the full transfer of the game between users.
Unfortunately, not all games have backwards compatibility. As a LeapTrade user, it is your responsibility to ensure the games you request are compatible with your system. In the event a game you receive does not work as a result of compatibility issues, this is not the fault of the offerer and not a sufficient reason to leave negative feedback. In these cases, we recommend you take steps to ensure you have downloaded/installed the most recent updates for the console. You can always contact us at help@LeapTrade.com so we may help you find a satisfactory resolution.
Cash Trade (Games listed for Cash):
Shipping costs are always paid for by the user Receiving(Buying) in the game, and free for the user trading(Selling) the game. LeapTrade will notify you when the game has shipped and provide delivery confirmation.
Credit Trades (Games listed for Credit)
Shipping costs are always paid for by the user trading in the game, and free for the user receiving the game. So if you are receiving a game, you can kick back and relax. LeapTrade will notify you when the game has shipped and provide delivery confirmation.
If you are the user trading in a game, you are responsible for paying the shipping costs and sending it out. Don’t worry, LeapTrade makes shipping games easy. You can print a shipping label right from the LeapTrade site for $3.68. Just place your game in a protective bubble mailer, slap on the shipping label, and drop it in the mail.
LeapTrade recommends you ship your games in a protective bubble mailer for maximum protection. Bubble mailers can be purchased at most retail stores that sell office supplies.
Print the Leaptrade shipping label that is provided to you when you confirm a sale, pack the game securely, and mail it out quickly so that other members are happy and you improve your feedback score. Games should always be shipped within 48 hours of confirming the trade. You can track your shipment on your My Trades page.
What you need to include with your game depends on the condition you listed your game in when you offered it for trade. There are three condition options for physical games offered on LeapTrade (Excellent, Good, Disc/Cartridge). Here’s what should be included for each condition:
Excellent: Game looks like it is pretty much new and comes with everything it came with when new.
-Manual is included, unless it's a digital manual like most new games
-Case looks like new, it's not cracked, broken, rental or jewel case.
-Disc or cartridge plays perfectly, in near perfect condition
Good: Game is complete, but may look well used.
-Manual is included, unless it's a digital manual like most new games.
-Case may be worn with some minor damage, but it's not broken, significantly cracked, a rental case, or a jewel case.
-Disc or cartridge plays perfectly. may have some scratches.
Disc Only: Game may only come with a disc/cartridge and be well used.

Leaptrade supports trading of digital only games. Digital trades are handled the same way as hard copy games. Trader must enter the correct code in the designated box when listing the game. Once trade has been matched and confirmed and the requesting party has paid for the code the code will be digitally transferred to the requester on their My Trades page. We recommend for all digital trades a private message is sent between parties.
Our Trade Guarantee covers all games traded on LeapTrade. If you receive a game that is in bad condition (i.e., broken, scratched, unplayable, not the original disc), you can leave negative feedback to the trader. Once a user leaves negative feedback, a dispute is generated and LeapTrade will investigate the matter.
LeapTrade uses a feedback system similar to other online auction sites like eBay. Each user has a feedback score. Each time a user completes a trade to the other person’s satisfaction, they earn one point towards their feedback score. All users’ feedback scores are public. Feedback scores provide a great way to gauge the reputation of users you are trading with.
After you receive a game, remember to leave feedback for the LeapTrade member you received it from. You can do this from your LeapTrade mini dashboard by clicking on the “My Trades” link. From your “My Trades” page, click on the “Requests” tab and then click on the "Leave Feedback" button for the specific game you have received. You can leave three types of feedback:
You have up to 72 hours after your game is marked delivered by the U.S. Post Office to leave feedback for a trade. This should give you enough time to receive the game even if shipping delays occur. If feedback is not received by the end of the 72 hours, LeapTrade will close the trade and give the user positive feedback.
Remember: Feedback is permanent. You cannot erase or retract feedback once it has been submitted. So make sure you provide honest and accurate statements about your trade experience.
You may leave feedback any time after you receive your game. Always remember that there’s someone on the other end waiting for your feedback, so provide it as quickly as possible. You have a maximum of 72 hours from when the game was marked delivered by the U.S. Post office to leave feedback. After 72 hours, the system will automatically provide positive feedback to the other user. You may leave feedback only once and you will not be allowed to change it, so we recommend leaving feedback only after you feel the trade is officially complete.
No. Feedback cannot be changed or removed. That being said, we understand how important your reputation and your feedback score are to you. In any cases where we determine feedback rules were broken, we will change or remove the problematic feedback. If you strongly disagree with the feedback you received on a trade, email our team at help@LeapTrade.com. We will investigate the matter and determine the best course of action.
If you received an incorrect game, it is probably just due to a simple mistake. We recommend contacting the user and trying to work something out. You can contact the user through the "Messages" link on your LeapTrade mini dashboard. If the problem cannot be resolved, please email the LeapTrade customer support team at help@LeapTrade.com.
If you received the correct game but it is not in the condition listed by the other user, the first thing you want to do is reach out to the user to see if a resolution can be reached. You can contact the user through the "Messages" link on your LeapTrade mini dashboard. If the user does not respond or the issue cannot be resolved, you may want to let the LeapTrade community know by leaving negative feedback for the user. When you leave negative feedback, a dispute will automatically be sent to the LeapTrade customer service team. If the game you received is a fraud or is not in working condition, we ask that you report the other user immediately by emailing help@LeapTrade.com.
All games traded on LeapTrade are covered by our Trade Guarantee. If you receive a product in bad condition (i.e., broken, scratched, unplayable, not the original),

Please note: Credit refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and usually members get refunded within 48 hours. If a user has a history of negative feedback (given or received) LeapTrade may investigate the user's trading activity and request more information about the specific trade. This may slow down the refund process, but LeapTrade will do everything in our power to quickly resolve any disputes
LeapTrade gives users 72 hours from when the game is marked delivered by the U.S. Post Office to leave feedback. After that time has passed, LeapTrade will close the trade automatically and mark it as "positive feedback" and add a point to your feedback score.
LeapTrade prohibits trading of copied, pirated or fraudulent games. If you receive a product that is copied or fraudulent, you should immediately contact email@example.com. As with other negative experiences, your account will be refunded the full value of the game, either through a PayPal refund if you bought with PayPal or a full credit refund if purchased with Leaptrade credit. Additionally, LeapTrade may request that you ship the product to our customer support team for verification. We will take the necessary actions against fraudulent users.
Our security system places accounts on hold for various reasons. The most common reasons are multiple instances of negative feedback from trades and having duplicate accounts. If a user violates LeapTrade's Terms of Conditions, their account can be suspended and, in some cases, terminated.
If your account has been suspended or terminated and you’re not sure why, you can email us at help@LeapTrade.com. Please provide your full name, username and address. Depending on the case, we may ask you to present us with proof of ID and/or address.
You can change your email address or password by visiting your LeapTrade mini dashboard and clicking on the "Settings" link. From the Account tab, you can make changes to your email address, password and mailing address. Once you have finished making changes to your mailing address, click on the “Save Changes” button on the bottom right.

Changing your avatar (the thumbnail image that appears in your profile) is easy. From your Leaptrade mini dashboard, click on the "Settings" link. Then click on the Profile tab at the top of the page. On this page, click on the box next to “Change Avatar” and a pop-up box will appear enabling you to add an image from your computer. Select the image you want to use and then click on the “Open” button. The image size has to be less than 300kb. The file name and path will appear in the box. If you are happy with the image you have selected, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page. The image should now appear in your Leaptrade mini dashboard.
On your LeapTrade mini dashboard, click on the “Settings” link and then click on the “Notifications” tab. You can then manage your notification options by checking the boxes next to the notification you want to receive or unchecking the boxes next to the ones you don’t. When you’re finished, click on the “Save Changes” button on the bottom right.

Yes. Even if you don't register, you can still read what’s being posted. However, only registered LeapTrade members can post on the forums.
