Why do people not offer trades for credit very often? Is that just an issue for the newer stuff?

Ever since there was a cash option implemented (there wasn't before when I joined) the credit sales have slowly deteriorated. Most of the people using the site switched over to cash only and this caused a huge dip. Sounds like there's some great options coming soon for credits though, there's still great deals on the site

you have to request the next gen games all of them or queued up so you need to get in line for them if not then you set what you find on the sales floor

Hello, I'm new to leaptrade, and I'd like to ask how to sell physical copies of games. I ask this because when I go to list a game, it always says give a code even though I want to sell a physical copy not digital.

You should type the game you want to sell into the search bar on top. There will be to the right of the game, request and sell. Hit sell and you should have four options to select. Excellent, good, disc only, and digital. Select one of the first three, then select price you want to sell it for, click list for sale, then confirm. If you are only seeing digital, then Leaptrade has it down for only that version. If thier is a physical copy, you need to get a hold of support and ask them to add the physical copy. If you are trying to list a physical copy of a PC game, please remember that all PC games that use Steam, Origin, or UPlay come with a one-time activation code for those clients and cannot be traded. Otherwise any physical console game that is missing just needs to be requsted to add to inventory. You can also request to add a game in this forum https://www.leaptrade.com/forum/topics/view/games-missing-from-database

    Hope this helps.

Also talk to Brem, he will help you.

What games are you trying to list for trade? Some games we only allow as digital. The reason why is because some games do require a one time use code, and we can't allow those for physical trade. The majority of newer PC games are like this.

If there's a game that doesn't require a one time use code, please let me know what games they are and I'll look into it.

That depends. Do you want to get something of value in exchange for those games? Find a long time trusted user who wants the game to agree to a f2f trade. Otherwise I wouldn't waste your time here. I don't want to be a negative Nelly but I don't want to see people get burned here. They promised they will be fixing this site over and over again. It hasn't been fixed. Don't move your games for useless credits.

    Dear New Leaptrade Users,

As someone who has been trading games online for credit for 10 years,  I feel qualified to explain what it is all about.

For me, it is a way to trade-in my old games without having to pay fees or get sodomized on trade-ins at Gamestop.  Let me be clear:  Leaptrade is not the fastest way to get games.  It is more about patience,  retaining value of your old games and the mystery of what game you will get from your request list next.   If you don't need immediate gratification,  trading here can exciting.

If you are trooper and request games on release day, you will get a good spot in the request queue.  Then you will be among the first to get matched with another user trading those games in down the road.  You can expect that your big-name, high profile games will traded in here eventually.  I have not seen a lot of niche games get traded in often.

So, the key is building your request queue over time and reaping the rewards later.

Another great thing about Leaptrade is the direct Friend-to-Friend trading option.  You can get on the forums and barter for games too.  If you make friends with the right folks and are a good, honest trader you can always get something for your credits outside of the queue system.  You just have to know who to ask.

I have made building my request list a weekly ritual and I never have to wait too long for a trade to come my way.  New Users,  if you follow "The Greasy Method"  you too can reap the benefits!
