I think I might start doing it soon. It sounds like fun, and I've always wanted to record some of my gameplay from some games. I really want to do GTA V streams now that I play that often, and with friends it could be quite fun.

I've never streamed, but I think I would be alrigth at it. Not sure if I'd be a pro at it by any means, but I suspect I'd be at least a bit fun to tune into.

A friend of mine has tried it, but it's really hard doing this sort of thing. He only got like three subscribers or along those lines. He still wants to try it again, and see where it takes him, but he's kind of boring, lol.

If you guys really want to do it, why don't you just go for it? It can't hurt to give it a shot. I don't think I'd be able to do it. Just to let you know, it's not easy work I imagine. It's probably a lot of editing and work to get fans.

There is no editing involved with streaming on Twitch, but yes, it is a lot of work. It is a combination of maintaining a regular streaming schedule, understanding how to operation streaming software and operating plugins properly to customize the stream to show follower, subscriber, and donation alerts; it is just a lot to learn and understand to build up one's channel to be like other professional channels. At the same time, you are competing with a lot of other people for their time and attention to watch your channel, and that is dependent on which games you play, and how appealing you are to your audience. Interacting with your audience is a lot more work than one may think, and keeping things entertaining requires creativity. I know that a lot of streamers have YouTube channels where they show clips from their streams and their subscribers from YouTube follows them on Twitch and vice versa. Suffice to say, it is a complicated, and difficult activity to do, but it is also a great deal of fun and rewarding if you get successful enough.

Sure do. Stream for my website, as well as some other guys stream for us. It's pretty fun, even if you only have a couple people in chat. This is my second channel, first was just me before we had a site.

I'd like to give it a shot one of these days. I know it's not easy or anything, but I figure it could be a great learning experience and a lot of fun.

I upgraded to a new PC last winter and have started gaming on it from time to time. I've been streaming my occasional plays of Skyrim lately.

Cool. That would be a fun game to stream, but I imagine everyone and their mothers play it, no offense of course. It's a great game. I kind of want to play obscure and unknown games, with some newer titles in the mix as well. Maybe even Skyrim once in a while too.
