Google Chromes new bookmarks

Has anyone noticed Google Chromes new bookmark system? It's basically more pretty and with that, means it's slower. I liked the simplicity of the old bookmarks where I could just have a simple list. Now it wants to show you a snapshot of the site I think and it just feels like it's going to hog more memory than it should. Did anyone notice it? Get the update?

Anyways, I was wondering, is there a way to go back to the old bookmark manager?

Yeah the new bookmark manager is awful and slow. It's also clunky and it's hard to move sites from one folder to the other. But supposedly there's a way to go back to the old way, which I plan to do.

    UPDATE:

Just put this in the search bar on Chrome:

    chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment

and it'll bring you right to the new addition and then go to disable. You'll have to go to the bottom of the page and click on "Relaunch" and then reload chrome and it should be back to the old bookmark manager.

Nice, thank you! That worked like a charm. I don't know how Google thought the new bookmark manager was good. It was a mess and I'm glad they allowed for users to go back to the original.
