Totally random, but I'm bumping this old thread hoping someone can give an honest opinion on the state of Leaptrade.  I was recently reminded of it after a notice that my account was being placed on the non-active list.  That's totally fair, Icashed out years ago, soon after they added the cash system.  It just seemed like the cash option was going to make the credits useless...then when dealing with the cash system you're competing directly with eBay and Amazon.  Based on the activity in the forums it doesn't seem to be super active.  Anyway, I'm wondering if someone can give an honset opinion on the current state of the site.

Hey lpeters82, we actually removed cash trading as an option some time ago due to it causing issues with credit trading. Trading has slowed down a bit because of it, but has increased a little bit with the monthly raffle we run. Though activity could be better and we have hopes of making some much needed changes soon, as well as a much needed marketing push.

I think you just need to look in the more active people's trades too see that trades are happening every now and again.

One of the things I would like to see implemented is removing dead users from the site and queue like gametz does. That would clear up ALOT of things. Even as a seller, I have to wait an enormous amount of time as it cycles through dead traders that haven't traded for years in some cases. Trim it down to something like 60 or 90 days to make sure people keep active and it will help tremendously.

This is something we have on the list for sure. If you encounter any users who you think may be inactive, please let me know or contact us athelp@leaptrade.com and we can put their accounts on vacation.
