Movie 43 - 3/10: Was really bad and I couldn't stand it. It's at least not as bad as those Scary Movie/Date Movie/ type movies. But it was bad.

The remake of "Red Dawn."  Some originals should not have been remade.  This movie is a shining example of this.  Thank goodness it was at the library, and only my tax payers dollars were wasted on it.  Do not buy this.  Get the original.  1 "Wolverines shout" out of 5.

Just watched "The Big Lebowski."  I am not sure how this became a cult classic, but I think I laughed a total of 3 times during the movie.

Maybe you took it too seriously. I find watching a movie twice sometimes makes them better, especially Will Ferrell movies. I always think they're dumb as hell the first time I see them.

Or maybe it simply wasn't your type of movie.

I did like all of the "rug" comments throughout the movie.  It was ridiculous which I think was the point with it actually having a "mystery" plot.  I didn't hate it; you're right though, it's not my type of movie.  I'm trying to watch the IMDB's top 250 movies, and it was in there.  It was better than "It's a Wonderful Life" which I had to watch in fast forward!

We watched "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones" last night.  It's like "Twilight" mixed with the "Underworld" series.  It was "okay", nothing special.

Watched "Noah" this afternoon. I'm not sure what I expected from this movie but a 2 hour snoozefest wasn't it. Really, really boring. I literally fell asleep and started snoring around the 35 minute mark, my wife had to wake me up...and then 15 minutes later I had to wake my father in law up for the same reason. Just horrible, skip it.

"Assault on Wall Street"- general story is believable in our current economic climate but what happens to the guy's wife was not remotely believable. Not worth your time unless you want to see a bunch of overpaid suits get shot up in the end.
