Family movie- Just finished "Despicable Me 2," which had a lot more adult humor in it this time around if my memory serves me correctly.  Very enjoyable.

Adult movie- Just finished "The Fountain." I had never heard of it other than in the old forums on Goozex.  I'm glad I watched it.  Very deep movie about accepting death.

Frozen - I really wasn't excited about watching it but a friend insisted. I ended up loving it and watching it a second time. The music is really nice and the storyline is really good. My new favorite Disney movie by far. Surprised

now you see me- i really enjoyed this movie its not often a movie i want to see from the trailers turns out to be better then the trailer makes it out to be. The movie has to do with magicians 4 to be exact, who pull of incredible magic tricks(in the end federal agent from interpol gets involved) If you haven't seen this movie you should it stars jessie eisenberg(the social network),Woody Harrelson(the hunger games),Isla Fisher(Rango) and Morgan Freeman(if you dont know who he is i feel for you)

They say that I'm a monster say that I'm a killer but I'm human until prove guilty

    Homegrown

Stars Billy Bob Thorton, Hank Azaria and Bryan Phillipe (I think that's his name) as pot growers for some distributer. It was alright I suppose, but it was pretty boring throughout. I don't want to spoil anything, but the growers have to start doing all the work when something goes wrong.

I think it came out in 98 or 99, can't be too sure though.

"Gravity" starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.  If you've ever wanted to be an astronaut, you need to see this movie.

"Atlas Shrugged, Part II" A continuation from Part I.  Part III comes out September of this year.  Very appropriate movie for the current state of the US.  Based on the novel written in the 1940's.

"Inequality for All" about the economic disparity in the US.  Very good history lesson about labor/wages in the US.

"How to Make Money Selling Drugs"  Documentary about hierarchy of the drug world and the corrupt "war on drugs" in the US that really has not made a difference other than to perpetuate the prison system.

    Both very eye opening.

This isn't a movie, but I highly recommend Ricky Gervais' new show Derek on Netflix.

It's a really sweet, funny show. And I guarantee there's an episode or two that will make you tear up. Give the pilot a shot. It's only 30 minutes.

Family movie... "Epic", animated adventure movie, classic good vs. evil but with some good take home messages about family dynamics.  Very cute, and this one is a keeper for our household!

I finished watching the last season of "Dexter."  I really enjoyed the series.  There were maybe 2 weak seasons, but other than that, very original, and thought provoking(like the Blue Meanie said above).  Plus, when do you ever root for the serial killer in a show or series?

I recently watched Out of the Furnace starring Christian Bale, Casey Affleck and Woodey Harrelson. I heard it wasn't that great of a movie, but it was much better than I expected. Though somewhat boring at times, it had a great performance by Bale. It just felt like some questions weren't answered, but it was overall a good movie.
