David Letterman will be leaving The Late Show soon, and Stephen Colbert was named as the new host of the popular CBS late night show. According to sources, he'll be taking over this coming September.

I think this is going to be good for CBS as I felt David Letterman was boring, but that's just my opinion.

Anyways, read about it here: NY Daily News

Letterman was old and his comedy wasn't attracting new generations. At least it didn't connect with me. He's not a bad guy and he isn't not funny, I'm just saying his comedy has gotten stale and it's time for a newcomer to take over. And Colbert is the perfect person to jump into the job. Can't wait to see what he does.

It's about time. It makes sense to have Colbert as a late show host. Now, I just wonder if Jon Stewart will jump to a late show spot one of these days. I doubt it'll happen, but who knows, it could happen.

I don't think Jon Stewart will be taking the Late Late show spot. Craig Fergusson has left The Late Late show as well, and some guy named James Corden will be taking his place sometime in 2015. Weird, never heard of the guy.
