I'm leaving LeapTrade. This site is done. I think Donald Stafford is the only one left on here that does anything. I cannot get a trade confirmed and I don't want to buy anything that's available. LT is basically a waste of my time these days. The whole cash thing destroyed this site, and luckily I only have $0.50 credits left!!

It's REALLY too bad the administration here weren't the ones on 99gamers because that site was perfect - until they stopped caring for it and turned it into an online garage sale site. I NEVER had ANY issues with that site!!! LT HAS TO GET RID OF CASH TRADING IF THEY WANT TO STAY RELEVANT!!!!

    So long.......

I also think that it sucks that we have to pay for shipping through leaptrade. My last trade with gamer2012 involved me sending out 3 games. Leaptrade charged me more than 7 dollars to ship the games. I could have shipped it for far cheaper. So if Gamer2012 wants to do another deal we're going to bring it over to gametz so I don't have to pay ridiculous shipping prices.

Apologies for not answering in here more often for you guys, I know Brem has been doing most of the talking here.  Like others were saying, there is no silver bullet that will "fix" credit trading besides growing the site.  When people decide to stop trading for credit it can be a snowball effect, and as much as we've been excited about bringing you some new updates, none of those would have had a major effect on increasing trading like growing will.

So, we've been focused heavily on our marketing plan for the end of this year.  The end and the beggining of the year are always the peak times for used game sales and game trading, so we are going to do a sustained blitz of marketing to bring a lot of eyes to the site.  This will be the biggest marketing push we've ever done and we are expecting to see a lot of new faces on Leaptrade that will be trading for both cash and credit.  Bringing you guys a bigger opportunitiy to use your credits than any new updates we could have done.  That's why we are doing a few smaller updates, but our main focus has been on preparing for this big marketing push that we are going to be doing in the next few weeks.

One of the smaller updates we did was to put the shipping back where it should have been after the post office raised and re-adjusted their rates.  You'll now be able to ship first class at higher weights, so you won't be pushed into the more expensive priority mail as soon.  That should help yankee's case where it was $7 for only 3 games.

SO there's no magical updates. Just trying to get more people on board, which may not happen if they read the forums.

LOL  what a freaking joke so the big news  to help people with  credits that you screwed over is that your giong to do a marketing push.    What you spending  10 bucks instead of the buck you usually do.   Really though you could spend a million bucks and not get a single person to join the site since most people who been screwed over  by this company has posted on  gameing websites to stay far away from this site

Thank you  for screwing people out of games

Yea...that's kinda disappointing. I had hoped they had some grand scheme to fix what was broken on this site. Unfortunately, the reality is that what is broken is customer confidence. Until these people's issues are resolved or they leave it will be a problem that will hinder efforts to grow the site with new blood. And its a shame because new blood is exactly what we need.

I agree. This is the saddest part of all - all the negativity and complaining are making the problem worse. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy.

The #1 thing that will fix this site is new users, and instead of directing our energy towards bringing them here, we continue to leave posts that drive them away.

wow. so after 11 days of telling me the game has shipped a user cancelled the trade. essentially holding my 40+ credits hostage for that time. what a joke.
