Been playing the last of us remastered for my 3rd playthrough haha and I'm playing metro redux. I actually just finished metro 2033 moments ago. Had a lot if fun with it. Almost as much fun as I had with wolfenstein the new order!

I am currently playing Fallout 3 GOTY. I played for two days solid and only made it to level 12, and I do not know exactly how much more I have to go. While I am enjoying the history of the game, I do have to say the biggest flaw I have noticed with these open world games is that nearly all of the characters you encounter are one dimensional. Do not get me wrong here, I am enjoying the feeling of exploration associated with this genre of games and being plopped in the middle of this environment, left to one's own devices to explore is pretty awesome; very much like the original Legend of Zelda or Final Fantasy, but on a different level, and it is awesome. However, one would think that there would be more depth to characters and story here, especially characters you run across on a regular basis. I dunno, maybe it is because I have become accustomed to story and narrative from games like The Last of Us, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, that when I play with a lack of narrative, it feels blank to me. Therefore, maybe it is up to me to fill in that blank space for narrative, where fulfilling the story should be for whatever reason I make it for my character. And is that not the definintion of an RPG? Holy cow, I just meta'd myself.

I just started playing Deus Ex Human Revolution for the PS3. Really good so far. I had to play it after they announced the new game. Looks really cool!

I own the first two games and am looking to get the Director's Cut for Wii U, but I definitely need to play it.

I am about 2/3 through the Tomb Raider reboot and I can not believe how amazing it is! My favorite game of all time is Metal Gear Solid 2 and this may have just replaced it.... Can't wait for the sequel!

I have never been able to get into Metal Gear or Tomb Raider; maybe I missed all of it back in the PS1 days when I had an N64, but the games have never really appealed to me. I have a thing for playing all of the games in a series, and when I found out how far back Metal Gear goes, I decided not to pursue that series. That and stealth games just are not for me. As for Tomb Raider, just not my cup of tea. I can not pin a definitive reason as to why, but I just do not hold any interest in the series. I do not doubt that they are great games, but I do not think I would enjoy them as other people have. Then again, I am one of those people who can not stand Call of Duty XD

I'm finally getting around to playing Splinter Cell Blacklist after waiting to play it for a while. I really liked Conviction and this game seems even better. I am excited to see how much better it can get!

Am pretty frustrated with Dragon Age II so I'm on game 4 of an 82 game season in NBA Live '98 for SNES to clear my head. I didn't anticipate Dragon Age being so difficult

Tekkentag, I liked dragon age II, but I thought it was no where near as good as origins. So I can see why you would be frustrated they changed all kinds of the game play and I thought it was kind of a mess, but it does straighten out after a while. I hear Dragon Age Inquisition is much better, but I slogged through DA II, as opposed to how I devoured DA:origins.
