This is sad. An elderly woman who passed away had in her will, that if she were to die, that she'd want her dog to be either put in a shelter by a friend or euthenized and barried with her. The friend of the deceased had the choice of either allowing the dog to live in a shelter or just euthenizing the dog, she chose to have the dog die.
There's a chance the dog can go to a santuary, where she can live the rest of her life there, but they need to test her health first to see if she can stay. If not, she will most likely be put down.
What do you think about this? Is it odd to have it in a will to have your dog euthenized after a human dies?
