Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege is a first-person shooter in the Tom Clancy franchise developed by Ubisoft Montreal Studios developed for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The game focuses on close quarter combat, one team defends a hostage, the main objective, while a counter terrorist Rainbow team attacks. The defending team has the ability to fortify their surroundings, create traps for the attacking team and create defensive systems and strategies to stop the attacking team. The attacking Rainbow teams must breach the fortified location and rescue the hostage using coordinated assaults and close quarters combat. The game is powered by Ubisoft's Anvil Next game engine which features a high level of environment destruction, enabling the destruction of ceilings, floors and walls.
